Taxis at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG)

Taxis are one option for travelling between Shanghai Pudong Airport and destinations across Shanghai. Use the official taxi queue and pickup instructions at your terminal rather than accepting unsolicited rides inside the terminal.

Finding a taxi

Follow the airport’s taxi signs to the designated pickup area for your terminal. Pickup locations and queue arrangements can change, so follow current airport signage and staff instructions.

Fares and journey time

The fare and travel time depend on your destination, traffic, time of day and applicable charges. We do not publish fixed estimates here because rates and conditions can change. Confirm the expected fare and payment method before setting off, and use the official queue.

Other ways to reach Shanghai

Depending on your destination and operating hours, options include Metro Line 2, the Maglev train to Longyang Road, airport buses and pre-arranged transfers. Verify routes and schedules before travel.
